Keith Ori, BS PT, co-owner

Keith, founder and presently a co-owner of Orthopedic Rehab, was born and raised in Dillon, MT. He graduated from Beaverhead Co. High School in 1975. He attended Carroll College for two years before transferring to the University of Montana where he received his  Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy Sciences in 1982. His specialties are Orthopedics, Orthotic Fabrication, and Sports Medicine.  Keith started Buffalo Hill Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in Kalispell in 1986 following a 4 year stint at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula. The practice name was changed to Orthopedic Rehabilitation, in 2000.  Keith and his wife Susan have 3 children, Kellen, Alena, and Briana.


Patrick Gulick, MS PT, co-owner

Patrick, a co-owner of Orthopedic Rehab, was born and raised in Whitefish. He graduated from Whitefish High School in 1991. He attended Montana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1996. He graduated from the University of MT with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy Science in 1998. His specialties are Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Spine Care. Prior to working in Kalispell, Patrick managed two clinics in Olympia, WA. He has been with Orthopedic Rehab since 2003.  Patrick and his wife Stephanie have 3 children Kali, Sidney, and Carson.

 

 

Margaret Bartels, BS DPT

Margaret was born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio where she attended Saint Augustine Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 1980 and her Doctorate from Creighton University in 2009. Her specialties are Orthopedics, Spine Care, and Aquatics. Margaret has been with Orthopedic Rehab since 1999. Margaret and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Bartels, have two children, Jeffrey and Sarah.

 

 

 

Teresa Kropp, BS PT ATC

Teresa was born and raised in North Dakota where she attended Jamestown High School. She received her Minor in Sports Medicine and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1984 from the University of North Dakota. Prior to working in Montana she worked as a Physical Therapist at St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck before moving to Missoula and then onto Libby. Her specialties are Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Aquatics. Teresa and her husband Mike, have two children, Nikki and Quinn.

 

 

Sarah Schmautz, DPT

Sarah, was born and raised in Kalispell, MT. She graduated from Flathead High School before attending the University of Montana. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007. Sarah returned to Kalispell following graduation and joined the Orthopedic Rehab team in 2007. She and her husband Seth enjoy many outdoor persuits. Sarah's specialties are Orthopedics, Spine Care, Sports Medicine and Orthotic Fabrication.

 

 

Rod Michel, PTA

Rod was born in Evansville, IN and raised in Newburgh where he graduated from Castle High School in 1988. He attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology in 1993. He later attended the University of Evansville and received his Associate of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999.  He has been with Orthopedic Rehab since 2000.

 

 

 

Bill Brunett, BS PT

Bill was born and raised in Columbia Falls and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1973. Following a stint in the military he attended the University of Montana and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 1978 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Sciences in 1982. His specialties are Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Spine Care. Prior to working for Orthopedic Rehab, Bill managed his own clinic in Columbia Falls and worked for North Valley Hospital. He has been with Orthopedic Rehab since 1999. Bill and his wife Kathy have two children, Amy and Kristy.

 

 

Tyler Ladenburg, DPT

Tyler was born and raised in Columbia Falls and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2000. He attended Montana State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2006. He graduated from the University of Montana in 2009 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. His specialties are Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Spine Care. Tyler and his wife Cassie, have two children Kamryn and Eli.

 

 

Amy Fischer, MS PT

Amy was raised in Oregon City, Oregon. She received bachelor of science degrees in both biology and chemistry from Eastern Oregon State University in 2000. Amy then attended the University of Montana and earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. Her specialties are Orthopedics, Spine Care, Sports Medicine, and Aquatics. Amy and her husband, Clay, have one daughter, Harlie.

 

 

Andrea Breuer, BS PT

Andrea, was born in Wolf Point, MT and raised in Havre, MT. She graduated from Havre High School in 1976. She attended Montana State University before transferring to the University of MT where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1986. Her specialties are Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Orthopedics, Spine Care and Sports Medicine. Andrea, and two other partners, began Professional Therapy Associates in Kalispell in 1988 following a 2 year stint in private practice. She joined the Orthopedic Rehab team in 2010. Andrea and her husband Andy have 2 children, Ben and Alex.

 

 

Ashley Guy, DPT

Ashley was born and raised in the Flathead Valley.  She graduated from Flathead High School in 2001 and then attended University of Montana where she received her bachelor degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Science.  She went on to Eastern Washington University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010.  Following graduation, she relocated to Santa Fe, NM where she treated neurological and orthopedic conditions as an inpatient rehab and acute care physical therapist at St. Vincent Medical Center.  She was thrilled with the opportunity to return to the Flathead and join the Orthopedic Rehab team in 2011.   She enjoys hiking, fishing, running, and the theatre in her off time. 

 

Naomi Taylor, LAT

Naomi was born in Choteau, MT and spent most of her childhood in Alberta. She came back to Montana to live in Kalispell where she graduated from Flathead High School. In 2008, she received her Bachelor degree in Athletic Training from the University of Montana. Upon graduation she came home to Kalispell and started work with Orthopedic Rehabilitation. She also serves as the athletic trainer for Glacier High School.

 

 

 

 

Sara Ericksen, MS PT

Sara Ericksen is a native of Oregon but relocated to Anchorage, Alaska in high school. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington in 1988. She received a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston in 1990. Her early work experience was in the inpatient rehabilitation setting at the University of Washington Medical Center. That is part of why you will often catch her proudly sporting the purple U-DUB gear. Sara relocated to Kalispell with her husband, Dr. Donald Ericksen of Flathead Valley Orthopedics, in 1999 and joined Orthopedic Rehab. Her primary clinical interests include outpatient orthopedic patients sports medicine. Her greatest joy in her work is making personal connections with the patients and helping facilitate their return back from injury or surgery to their desired activities. Sara and her husband Don have three children – Ingrid, Leif and Kirsti. In addition to supporting the athletic exploits of the kids Sara enjoys tennis, skiing and all of the great outdoor activities of the Flathead.
